The Rundown: As They Sleep & Forsake The Fallen 5/31

Prepare yourselves, the metal is coming.

This Saturday, May 31st, The Main Street Cafe is being taken over by brutal, rampaging death metal. Presented by DxD Booking, the show features Detroit-based death metal outfits As They Sleep and Forsake The Fallen. Morgantown death metal The Kafka Machine and AC/DC tribute band BON's Johnson will be providing local support.

This all ages show is going to the first time any of these bands have performed at The Main Street Cafe. Corral all of your friends, and even your enemies, and come headbang and mosh until your body gives out.

The doors open at 5 p.m. and the show begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $8 at the door after 6 p.m. and $6 from 5-6 p.m.

 As They Sleep

Who are they: As They Sleep combines precision and ferocity with their fast-paced, in-your-face metal. Based out of Detroit, this five-piece manages to create crystal clear metal without losing any viciousness to overproduction. Their 2010 release "Dynasty" is everything you could want from a metal album. Its high-octane riffs are full of finesse and the cutting vocals are addicting.

Why should you care: Clarksburg has seen its fair share of metal bands come and go over the past decade. While some were alarmingly brutal and others knew how to light up a guitar with sweep picking, few could combine the two in such a fashion as As They Sleep do. These guys tour from coast to coast and they have a new album coming this year. If your heart beats the slightest bit faster when you hear metal, then prepare for cardiac arrest because As They Sleep isn't a band that messes around.

Forsake The Fallen

Who are they: Que the racing solos, chugging riffs and powerhouse vocals. Forsake The Fallen, from the Metro Detroit area, know how to make an epic metal anthem. Their songs go from slow to fast and heavy to heavier. Each member of this metal quartet displays incredible ability. You'll hear guitars gallop and then rip out a solo, and the vocals go from gut-wrenching growls to powerful cleans in the matter of seconds.

Why should you care: Just as with As They Sleep, Forsake The Fallen combine meticulousness with savagery. Try to find a song as vicious as "War Within Me" (below) that boasts equally as gripping and dynamic cleans. This band has only been around for three years and they make music like they're veterans of metal. At the end of a song you'll be left fulfilled and breathless.

The Kafka Machine

Who are they: The Kafka Machine hail from Morgantown, West Virginia. They're five dudes with a passion for heavy music. The past five years of the band's existence have seen multiple lineup changes, but their current lineup produces relentlessly heavy music (check the video below).

Why should you care: The Kafka Machine make the type of pissed off death metal that is easily felt by listeners. They are loud, aggressive and local. Those are three tasty traits. As They Sleep and Forsake The Fallen aren't going to be around West Virginia immediately after this show, but The Kafka Machine play countless shows in the Morgantown and Fairmont area, so it's best to get acquainted.

BON's Johnson

Who are they: BON's Johnson is a three-piece band from Morgantown, West Virginia who play nothing but AC/DC tunes.

Why should you care: Danny Strakal, the face behind DxD Booking, calls them, "The greatest AC/DC tribute you'll ever see." C'mon, AC/DC are forefathers of metal and rock. Anyone who's going to pay homage to them by dedicating their entire band to their greatness deserves to be listened to.

Listen: No shortcuts here. Come to the show to hear AC/DC revived like never before by three rockers from Morgantown. In the meantime, get pumped up with some classic AC/DC.

The Rundown: The Breakout Tour 5/28

This Wednesday, May 28th, Dive and Man On Earth will be bringing the heat to The Main Street Cafe as part of their eastern Breakout Tour.

If you're a fan of rock, whether it be commercial alt-rock or late-night indie rock, then you won't want to miss this. New Jersey native Dive has performed with the best, and they're on their way to joining their ranks, and Man On Earth's eclectic style of rock is some of the best New York City has to offer.

Joining them with local support will be jam-rockers Culture Thief, aggro-pop punk babes Get With It and melody-laden songbirds Tomorrow to Forever.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and the music starts at 6 p.m.

Admission is $5.

Dive

Who are they: Dive churns out radio-ready hard rock, packed full of aggressive vocals and racing guitar solos. Formed in New Jersey in 2003, Jonny Dive (vocals), Joey Tone (guitar), Derek Gormley (bass) and Tony Colosi (drums) have toured the country and performed with the likes of Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Three Days Grace and more.

Why should you care: This is a band meant for packed stadiums, and they're going to be coming to downtown Clarksburg to play in The Main Street Cafe. It's basic science, when you take all of the energy and epic-ness meant for stadiums and compact it to a small, but equally rad area, there's going to be an overflow of awesome. These guys are in the midst of their Breakout Tour, and they're going to rock harder than you've ever heard.

Man On Earth

Who are they: Man On Earth bring forth a mixing pot of indie rock. At times bouncy and light, and other times crawling with a harder edge, these New York City rockers don't hold back. They have relentlessly toured the country the past few years, and when it came time to record their 2014 self-titled album they hooked up with Cooper Anderson (Fun., Kanye West).

Why should you care: They were ranked by Deli Magazine as one of NYC's top live rock bands. In case you were unaware, NYC is overloaded with ambitious rockers, so that isn't a toss-away accolade. In addition to that nod, they have received multiple other awards, as well as having songs earning a handful of spots on TV and radio broadcasts. Their sound is fun and energetic, and their new album is sick.

Culture Thief

Who are they: Based out of Fairmont, West Virginia, Culture Thief is a band that is not easily described. Their sound is a blend of jazz-inflected, bluesy rock music with hints of soul and folk strung throughout. This collective of musicians is bursting with talent. Their songs will persuade you to dance around and then weep.

Why should you care: While listening to Culture Thief, it is likely that you will have a transcendental experience. From Terry Rogers' entrancing sax melodies to Craig Debastiani's ethereal vocals, you won't walk away from a Culture Thief set unchanged. Each member of this six-piece collective exudes passion and technical ability. Even if you don't know bass clef from treble clef, the chemistry and talent in Culture Thief is impossible to miss.

Get With It

Who are they: Five guys making noise, and having the time of their life doing it. That is Get With It in a nutshell. A punk band from Clarksburg, West Virginia, Get With It bridges the gap between pop punk and hardcore. They combine catchy riffs and upbeat tempos with throaty yells and the occasional brutal breakdown.

Why should you care: Get With It has knack for not giving a crap whether they're playing in front of five people or a hundred people. They go hard every show. You're guaranteed to see some wild stage antics from vocalist Greg Tassos. You can make a circle pit or you could furiously nod your head along to the beat-driven verses. Either way, it's a good way to burn some calories while being bombarded with loud, angry punk music.

Tomorrow to Forever

Who are they: Heart-on-your-sleeve melodic pop is the business that Tomorrow to Forever are in. Originally a moniker for frontman Grayson Prince, the band grew to include Grace Corley doing vocals, Aron Golden on drums and D.J. Smith on guitar. Their songs range from somber war anthems to ballads about post-love affliction, but they consistently retain the utmost sincerity and suave.

Why should you care: Any time that anyone puts this much heart and emotion into anything it is worth listening to. The combination of Grayson's soft croon and Grace's chilling falsetto will draw you in from the start. Sometimes you want to throw 'bows and hardcore dance, but then other times you need something to mellow you out, and the tunes of Tomorrow to Forever do just that.

Q&A with Comrade Aaron of The Strange Times

Yesterday everyone got the rundown on this Sunday's show. It's going to be a punk-rock bonanza featuring The Strange Times (New York punk), Jet Set Vapour Trails (West Virginia power rock), Barracuda (West Virginia punk-rock) and The 5th Gear (West Virginia hard rock).

The doors open at 4 p.m. and the music starts at 5 p.m. Admission is $5.

I caught up with Comrade Aaron, vocalist and bassist of The Strange Times, and asked him some questions about his band and the upcoming show.

The Main Street Cafe: When and how did The Strange Times begin?

Comrade Aaron: In December 2012, I was at a head shop in NYC. I was asking the shop owner if I could buy a bong with a picture of Noam Chomsky painted on it. Sean happened to be in the shop at the same time. He overheard this conversation, pulled me to the side and said he knew just the dude who could take care of this task. He introduced me to Jeff, who has a knack for glass-painting. Jeff painted Noam's face on a red, 12 inch bong and it came out incredible! The three of us kicked back, put the bong to good use, then came up with the idea to start the band.

TMSC: Who all makes up the band?

CA: I’m the vocalist and bassist, Sean plays guitar and Jeff plays drums. We also have a part time electric-violinist named CaroLion, but unfortunately she won’t be able to make it to The Main Street Café show.

TMSC: What type of music do you make?

CA: Strange punk.

TMSC: Want to say a little bit about this mini tour?

CA: It’s our first tour and we’re extremely psyched to see how it plays out! Arbitrary insanity will be mandatory for all 5 days.

TMSC: Have you ever been through this area before?

CA: Nope, it’s our first time, so please be gentle. Shout out to Yellowdog Union for suggesting The Main Street Café! Unfortunately, they’re not able to play, but all the bands on this show kick ass.

TMSC: What can people expect from a live show?

CA: They should expect to be so overcome by the energy and music, that they experience a heavy state of synesthesia. Vibrant colors will whirl in front of their eyes as they circle pit into a frenzy.

TMSC: Where can people hear your music?

Welcome to "The Rundown", where we will be giving everyone a taste of the music they will see at upcoming shows.

This Sunday, May 25th, New York punk outfit, The Strange Times, will be passing through on their Spring Tour. They'll be receiving support from local acts Jet Set Vapour Trails, Barracuda and The 5th Gear.

This show is equal parts noisy punk and power rock.

With that said, let's get to The Rundown.

The Strange Times

Who are they: Hailing from New York City, The Strange Times is not your average loud, urban punk band. Formed in the winter of 2012, they have been crafting a colorful blend of contagious punk rock that is guaranteed to get your feet moving. The band is composed of bassist/vocalist Comrade Aaron, guitarist Sean, drummer Jeff, and occasionally electric-violinist CaroLion.

Why should you care: There are two main reasons you should care about The Strange Times. First, they are coming from New York City. Their mini-tour is five dates spanning all down the East Coast and we're lucky enough to be one of those dates! Secondly, they kick ass. Seriously, this band has all of the energetic allure of a punk band with none of the sloppiness. Take fast-paced punk and mix in vibrant rock riffs and charismatic vocals and you've got The Strange Times. I know Clarksburg is full of punk-loving folks. Let's show these guys how a little West Virginia town runs a punk show.

Jet Set Vapour Trails

Who are they: Jet Set Vapour Trails is a three-piece rock band full of veteran musicians. From Morgantown, WV., they came together with years of experience making music already under their belts. This is apparent in the brooding alt-rock they create. Sounding like powerful rock colliding with 90's grunge-punk, Jet Set Vapour Trails produces menacingly beautiful music.

Why you should care: In this area you can find loud punk and aggressive metal, there's melodious pop rock and singer-songwriters, but there isn't anyone quite like Jet Set Vapour Trails. There are few local alt-rock acts, and even fewer with the chemistry and experience present in Jet Set Vapour Trails.

Barracuda

Who are they: Barracuda knows how to play punk music: loud and fast. Formed in Morgantown, WV., Barracuda contains members formerly of local punk act Dangerkat. Barracuda's music is impassioned punk with a 50's rock flair thrown in. Lively stage presence and racing guitar riffs are components of any and all of their performances.

Why you should care: With Barracuda, it all comes down to having a good time. It's not with every band that you can run around, mosh, jump or frantically scream. Between the driving punk vibe and rocking guitar licks, it's hard not to have fun while listening to Barracuda. You should care because you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't go crazy during their set.

The 5th Gear

Who are they: What started out as five teenagers participating in Bandland’s Rock Camp in the summer of 2013 grew to be an era-spanning rock band. Three-fifths of The 5th Gear are siblings. Brothers Dylan, Riki and Franky Satterfield team up with Brandon Kennedy and Kelsey Jeffries to churn out hard rock anthems.

Why you should care: These are teenagers busting out everything from Led Zeppelin and Guns N' Roses to Metallica and Green Day, as well as well-crafted originals. The 5th Gear may be young, but they've got old souls. When was the last time you heard a 12-year-old laying down beats for hard-hitting rock songs? If you enjoy rock in any form, then The 5th Gear probably have something to offer.

Grammy-nominated jazz quintet to perform for the WV Jazz Society.

Kip Williams' Grammy-nominated band, Bop Nation, will be performing an evening of jazz at The Main Street Cafe this Friday, May 23rd.

Doors open at 7 p.m., and Bop Nation begin at 8 p.m. Admission fee is a suggested donation of $15, with the proceeds benefiting the Youth Project of the West Virginia Jazz Society. Attendants under 21 are free.

Bop Nation brings an exciting blend of jazz fusion. From Richmond, VA, the band has been performing their improv-laden tunes throughout Virginia and surrounding areas.

Since 2010, guitarist Mike Ess and drummer Kip Williams have performed with Bop Nation. There have been multiple lineup changes, including a handful of temporary fill-ins. In addition to Ess and Williams, the band is now rounded out with Lee Covington on piano, Kevin Simpson on saxophone and Rusty Farmer on bass.

The band is consistently busy, performing for a plethora of audiences. This Saturday, they will be headlining the Snowshoe Wine & Jazz Festival.

Maid Myriad vocalist comes to the cafe: a Q&A with JCK.

This Wednesday, May 21st,Unraveled. aid Myriad will be kicking off the "These Fragile Bones Tour", his first acoustic outing, by coming to The Main Street Cafe.

JCK is the epitome of DIY. Based out of Akron, Ohio, Jeff Klemm (JCK) writes, performs, records, mixes and promotes his own music. Currently the frontman for Ohio rock trio Maid Myriad, he has toured the country multiple times performing music.

This tour, JCK is going solo. He'll be receiving local support from Morgantown three-piece rock band Fuck Your Birthday, who are also kicking off their own tour, hard hitting rock duo False Pterodactyl, folk-punk duo Captain Catfeesh, I Am a Sea Creature, and Unraveler.

The music will start at 6 p.m., and admission is $5. JCK's crooning vocals, a mix between soft and forceful, sets him apart from your average frontman-gone-singer/songwriter.

If you're not impressed by his vocal range you're probably deceiving yourself. I reached out to JCK via Facebook and asked him some questions. Check out the exclusive interview with him below.



The Main Street Cafe: First off, want to say a little bit about this tour that you’re embarking on?

JCK: This is my first solo acoustic tour showcasing brand new songs due to be released on an acoustic album that will come out this summer. I'm actually embarking on this whole tour using public transportation, so it will be a pretty interesting way to see the country and travel.

TMSC: How often do you get to play solo? 

JCK: The acoustic side of my music is something I always do in my spare time, but haven't really done on a consistent basis. It really depends on the schedule of Maid Myriad. Last year we did 5 tours with over 100 shows all over America, and the only time I had for my acoustic was during (downtime) or in between tours. This year, we've been really busy wrapping up mixing for our first full length album which will be released in August.

TMSC:  Have you played in Clarksburg or West Virginia before? 

JCK: We've actually never played West Virginia before.

TMSC: How does it feel to be playing acoustic instead of full band? 

JCK: It really is a whole different monster. With the band, we're a three piece. We're loud, heavy, we flail around and make a ton of noise! We've been told it sounds like there's 5 guys onstage! With the acoustic set it's pretty much the opposite. I'm by myself with an acoustic guitar so it's very mellow. I really like to push the fact that you can be intense while being dynamically soft.

TMSC: What sort of songs can we expect, Maid Myriad, originals, covers?

JCK: You can certainly expect some acoustic versions of Maid Myriad songs slated to be on the full length record. I also have an album's worth of solo acoustic songs I will be road testing before I head into the studio in June to track that record. Aaannnnd you might hear a few cover songs slipped in there.

TMSC: What are you most excited about for this show?

JCK: I LOVE playing/seeing/experiencing new cities and meeting new people. It's really what attracts me to being a touring musician.

TMSC: Finally, if you could duet with any musician on any song, who would it be, what song, and why?

JCK: This is such a tough question! I would LOVE to sing with hundreds of other musicians who inspire me daily..... I don't know. Today my answer will be Bjork. She floors me.

It looks like a fine night for a dance party.

After seeing the success of two prom after parties at The Main Street Cafe, the staff decided it was time to crank it up and make an all ages rave.

"We have done two teen dance parties that have gone over well. I want to break from the norm of concerts and game nights and give people a 'club' scene for a night," Manager Daniel Bonner said.

This Saturday, starting at 8 p.m., there will be a free dance. It's just like a nightclub with no cover charge, except you don't have to worry about preppy college "dudes" or sassy diva wannabes perpetuating drama all night.

Come down and enjoy our comfortable atmosphere, top notch beverages and friendly staff to make your weekend one to remember. DJ Vendetta will be bringing the tunes for everyone to move their feet to.

We will have our full selection of domestic and imported beers, smoothies and coffee drinks for sale. If you want to indulge in something classy, or maybe you're under 21 and want to pretend you're a legal drinker, we will be having non-alcoholic herbal martinis.

When you're not sipping on your beverage of choice, be prepared to dance.

Whether you want to shuffle to some EDM or shake your booty to club-banging hip hop, this Saturday is for you.

"We are going to be playing a variety of music, anywhere from 80s through now," Bonner said.

The elusive, mysterious DJ Vendetta will return to the cafe for a 3rd time to crank out the jams.

What happens if you have a request? Bring them on up and tell DJ Vendetta. A world of music is at his fingertips.

Although there is no formal theme, feel free to don your sexiest costume and come have a good time. It is going to be an exciting night full of eclectic fun. One minute you could be getting your twerk on with Alice in Wonderland, and the next waltzing to a pop ballad with a dapper-looking gentleman. One rule: if "Don't Stop Believin'" comes one, you must scream along.

At The Main Street Cafe we just want everyone to have a good time and make some memories. If you feel like blowing off some steam and acting like a fool for a few hours, then come hang out with us. You will most definitely be seeing Sissy Broadwater, the other lovely manager, shaking her tail feather.

The party will be raging until 2 a.m., so there is ample time to make your way downtown to the last dance party until June.

The Main Street Cafe hosts show to benefit Bill McAtee.

This Friday's show is more than just your typical evening of music. It is an opportunity to help out a family in a time of need.

On April 1st, Bill McAtee was diagnosed with cancer.

Bill and Sonya

Bill, 44, is married and has three children. He, his wife, Sonya, and his daughter, Alex, live in Nutter Fort. With his diagnosis, stage 2 unfavorable Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Bill has to undergo chemo treatments for twice as long as normal. This is due to having more than three cancerous masses.

"It’s in the lymph nodes, it’s in between my lungs, it’s on the outsides of my lungs and it’s in the bottom of my throat," Bill said.

Bill is three weeks into his chemo treatments, and between the sickness and side effects of treatment, daily life has seen some major changes for him and his wife.

"Day to day life, he’s home by himself all day while I work because I’m working as much as I can because I don’t have many days left that I can take with pay," Sonya, a preschool aid at North View Elementary, said.

Bill, a distribution manager for Dr. Pepper, has had to collect disability since his sickness.

"It's just, you get tired easier. There are side effects to the chemo. I had a low blood count, so I had to take another shot that’s painful in your bones," Bill said.

Although he's battling cancer, Bill and his wife are thinking of greater things.

"Our prayer is that, through this, God gets glorified. That’s what all trials are about, is God being glorified, and we hope that we can be light into somebody’s life that maybe is going through this later," Sonya said.

Bill adds, "Maybe somebody I’m sitting there having chemo with one day, I can witness to them and talk to them."

As for Bill's condition, they are optimistic about his future.

"It has a really high cure rate, and we trust that God is going to get him through it, and we’re not concerned at this point about him losing his life," Sonya said.

However, when he first received the news, Bill couldn't help but raise the question.

He said, "When the doctor first tells you you got cancer that’s immediately the first thing you think of, 'How much longer do I got?'"

But their steadfast faith in God lends them hope. On the day that they found out he was sick, Sonya stayed up late and wrote down uplifting scripture on 30-some note cards, which are now hung all around the house.

"I just wanted him, wherever he looked, to be encouraged," Sonya said.

Sonya said that, in addition to God, it is the love and support from family and friends that helps keep them going.

Bill and Sonya are long time family friends of Tyler Bish, The Cafe's friendly doorman, sound guy and all around hard worker.

They met when Bill was coaching Tyler's little brother's baseball team.

"I don’t even remember how it happened, but Bill asked me if he wanted me to be his assistant coach, and I was like yeah, sure I’ll do it," Tyler said.

"Ever since then he’s been a friend of my family," Tyler said, "They’ve been there for us no matter what."

When Tyler found out that Bill was diagnosed with cancer, he immediately knew he needed to do something to help. He talked with Daniel Bonner and Sissy Broadwater, The Cafe's managers, and without any hesitation they agreed to host a benefit show.

"That just means the world to me. That shows me not only do they care about this cafe and everything, but they care about people they don’t even know," Tyler said.

The show is aiming to help ease the financial burdens for Bill and Sonya. Between his inability to work and the medical costs, the family is going to be facing a $13,000 financial impact.

Upon hearing the news that a concert was being held in his honor to benefit their financial hardships, Bill was overwhelmed.

"It brought tears to my eyes. It’s just nice to know there’s still people out there that will do things for other people," Bill said.

Four bands and one solo artist are coming together this Friday to provide music free of charge for Bill's benefit. Transylvanian pogo-punks and admired scene veterans, The Renfields, are being joined by The Laser Beams (Huntington, WV rock), Jaguar Mountain Rundown (Uniontown, PA folk-punk), and  singer-songwriter Sonny Schaffer, who is also hosting the event.

Whether you want to support local music, local business or a local community member, grab all your friends and come out to The Cafe on Friday. It's worth it.

"I want people to know that that’s a place they can go, and they can hang out, and they’re good people. Daniel and Sissy are doing things for other people, and you don’t find that every day," said Bill.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m. Admission is $5, with all proceeds from the door going towards the McAtee family.

 

Meet the Crew: Tyler Bish

If you have been to The Main Street Cafe for any event, it is likely that you've had the pleasure meeting Tyler Bish. Tyler is equal parts doorman, bartender, sound guy and eye candy. One of the most down to earth people you could hope to meet, Tyler loves hanging out and chilling with the many people that walk through Main Street's doors. Fair warning though, if you try to start any trouble, Tyler will make sure you don't disturb the peace and positive energy in The Cafe. He's a kindhearted guy, but he is a very strong kindhearted guy who isn't afraid to kick a troublemaker out.



What is your name and position at The Main Street Cafe?

My name is Tyler Bish, and my position is whatever they need me for. I've worked the front door. I do a little bit of security. I work behind the bar. I run the sound. I do pretty much anything.

Why did you get involved with The Main Street Cafe?

The first night I was here, which was the kick-off show, I looked around here and I seen everything that was going on, and I decided I wanted to be a part of this. So I started talking to Daniel, and actually lo and behold we actually known each other from years, years back, and I just started talking to him, and he wanted me out here. So that's why I'm here today. We used to go to church camp together. I didn't realize it at the time until we started talking about it. Like, yeah we've known each other for a long, long time.

Favorite musician/band?

Honestly, I love Get With It. I love the way Greg performs and everything else. He can get  a crowd of just five people pumped as much as a crowd of 100 people. And the way they put the music together is all about everybody. I love the way how they perform. I don't think I've seen a  band that has been able to get the crowd excited as much as they can. That, and he gets naked.

What about your favorite bigger band?

I really enjoy the Red Hot Chili Peppers. That's one of my favorites. That's actually what got me playing bass back in the day.

Favorite movie?

I don't have a favorite movie. I watch anything and everything. That's including chick flicks. I could sit there and watch a chick flick and cry as much as I could watch an action movie.

Favorite drink?

Blue Moon. I love my Blue Moon. If I had a choice I could drink that all day. I always make sure we have that here.

What are you most excited about with The Main Street Cafe?

I'm excited about The Cafe in general. To see where we started from and where it's become, just within a couple of months is just simply amazing. And I love seeing the people that's been here for every single show and I love the fact that we're seeing new kids every single week.

What has been your favorite memory of The Cafe so far?

I'd have to say every single day that I spend at the cafe is a good memory. And they're always my favorites. That's probably the best way to put it. There hasn't been a favorite, but everything has been so good to me where it's kind of hard (to choose).

What is your dream for the cafe? 

I don't have a dream event, but I actually talked to Daniel and Sissy, and a friend of mine was actually diagnosed with cancer about a month ago, and we're actually throwing a fundraiser on May 16th. And the fact that they're able to do that for me to help them is actually kind of a dream for me. And it's awesome because I'm all about helping people, and since these people have been in my life and has always helped me I'm glad I can repay them in some way, in some form.

You’re stranded on a deserted island. What are your three essentials?

My pocket knife, I always carry a pocket knife. No matter what, you can use a pocket knife with pretty much anything. My dog. My dog has always been there for me through thick and thin. It doesn't matter if I'm depressed or anything, my dog will always be there for me. And my pillow. I don't care where I'm sleeping. As long as I have a freaking pillow I'm happy. It doesn't matter.

Leave everyone with your best bit of life advice.

Just enjoy it. Enjoy the small things and always worry what's going on instead of what's gonna be happening. If you worry too much about what's being planned, then you'll never see what's going on right now.
